In Waukeen's Promenade, near to the camp controlled by the gnome illusionist, there are a lot of circus contructs and beasts in cages.
In one of the stands, a guy is standing (I do not remember his name). If you click on him to initiate a dialog (his InitialMeeting sound), he says WHA . . . . y-yes?, and the voice is Khalid's! (Khalid's reaction when you select him in BG and he is frightened first).
This sound(file) was exactly inherited from BG1!

Perhaps this is no news at all (and I noticed it years ago while playing BGII), but I haven't seen a thread about it.
Perhaps there are more occurences of his soundsets or at least of the voice actor's voice?

Wow, three or so years after the release this secret is unveiled. :shake: Noticed it at the first play-through. ;)

I'd say that there probably are. There are dozens of occurences of voices in the game of re-used voice talent. Minsc's voice for Gorion's voice is one example, just off the top of my head. If you were really paying close attention, I'm sure you'll find Khalid's voice four or five times throughout the game.

It is obvious that one voice actor's voice is used many times, in case of many creatures, because there are much less voice actors than creatures.
I was only surprised in case of that circus guy, they took the exact sound (Wha.... Y-yes?) from BG1.

Jahiera and Faldorn are the same voice actress, just a different accent. You don't really hear her much in BG2, but in BG1 it's very clear. Odd they did it that way, considering they're both druids. Also, Coran and the default Male voice from BG1 are the same voice actor.

Anyone remember Batman: The Animated Series? The same voice actor who played Ra's Al Ghul is Jon Irenicus in BG2.

I took a look at Kevin Michael Richardson's career and he's played voices from nearly every damn Interplay game out there.
In the BG series he's known as Sarevok yet he has been in the Fallout series, Planescape: Torment, - albeit not Interplay but still Bioware - Jolee from Knights of the Old Republic and the Beast Spirit from Trokia's Lionheart.

In case you don't know: Kevin Michael Richardson is my favourite voice actor. His acting with Sarevok and the narrator from Baldur's Gate I were brilliant. "You were never worthy of Bhaal's blood, AND I WILL CRUSH YOU WHERE YOU STAND!" *drools*

B:TAS is a great series--the first time I heard David Warner do Irenicus's voice in BG2 it drove me crazy trying to figure where I had heard the voice before... once I figured it out, I kept expecting him to address my character as "detective." ;)
