Kelsey hitting on my MALE PC?

This is weird. I had no idea Kelsey was gay. He really hid it well, he did not dare to make an approach till I went Asylum and saved Immy, and when we returned from Undeardark, he started...romancing my male (last time I checked, he was male, you can not be sure with all those wild wild surges going on though! ) PC.

I know it is a romance, I know a romance talk when I see one, with that sweet music, and the occasional attempt at being overly familiar.

Now, after third or fourth talk, I am now able to initiate flirts. Yeah, I blow to his ear and slap his rear. Just to see his really FUNNY reactions! Har har!

Hmm. I have a few ideas to this problem, though.

1-Hmm, my WM spent more than a few days as a woman due to some...unexpected wild surges. Maybe this confused poor Kelsey?

2-Oh I have Chloe and Immy too, and they are really 'going' at it, so...did Kelsey like their ways and said 'why not give it a try?' OK, being serious here, Chloe did not make a move to me as she KNEW my PC was male. Why did not Kelsey know it?

3-Another idea, I was romancing Jaheira, and I finished it succesfully, only to start Kelsey romance instead. (some change!)I guess this was why he was silent in the first half of the game, then immediately started focusing his attention on me when the romance was over?

4-Hmm, I have concurrent romances and romance for all (no sex&gender discrimination) thingies, so can they be the cause?

Whatever the cause, Kelsey is a very important part of my party, he is the spell stock, he has all useful spells which my main spell casters never bother to memorize. Like Farsight (extremely useful in tactical battles and commanding summons&PIs.), Pro from Magic Energy (a must to have in every mage&lich fight), Ruby Ray (to deal with SI:Abjuration), True Sight (I can not emphasize the importance of this spell enough) and Pierce Shield (which is a perfect debuff spell) plus all those GMs which I need plenty.

So I will NOT kick him just he is romancing my PC. Were it Anomen, it would be a different story. (I have a few nasty ideas for him) But Kelsey will stay with me, and I guess my party will be the most perverted adventuring company in Fearun, with Immy&Chloe and My male PC&Kelsey 'romancing'.

Seriously, do you have any ideas about the cause, or comments, share with me!

I think your first guess sounds the most likely, although you can never be too sure... Well you should probably ask Compton. It's probably just a bug or something...right?

Or not. Concurrent romances can only remove the requirements from the 'known' romances. The Bioware romances are definitely covered, but looking up what to change for each mod romance - even one as popular as Kelsey - is somewhat doubtful.

 

Kelsey does look abit gay to be honest. And he certainly SOUNDS gay (am probably pissing of whoever voice-acted the fellow) but he DOES, he sounds VERY VERY gay. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay.

Yes, the creator of Kelsey is also his voice (check the readme).

 

Oh, okay...that's a bit rare. Don't most people get other people to do the voice? Hmm...interesting...

 

Voice set is the creators? I guess the Kelsey portrait is also a modified version of his own photos?

Anyway, I do not think Kelsey sounds gay, I have heard nothing but good things about the mod and the romance. All female players just swoon over him AFAIK. (I can understand them as the other alternative is Anomen. Ugh!)

Well...I prefer what Anomen has to say over what Kelsey has to say...Plus I find Anomen's over inflated stories about his great feats so ridiculous its funny. Beats hearing about merchant life IMHO. So I like Anomen better.
