[IMG] Keldron has just joined my party, and has agreed to stay with me until we rescue Imoen.
After this he leaves? Can you make him stay? Who is a good replacement?

[IMG] That's Keldorn, the Inquisitor. IMO he's a superb NPC unless you play a Paladin yourself.
You can keep him in your party all through the game if you handle him right. Remember he is a paladin so he does not like to associate with evil party members!
Like all NPC's he has a personal quest which may interfere a little with what you think is best for the party but you're a good leader, aren't you? :D

Keldorn's really grown on me since I recruited him. In the first game when I found him I didn't bother. I couldn't see the point of a Paldin with terrible dexterity and no healing spells. Now I'm doing my non-magic user party I had to recruit him out of neccesity and I'm really glad I did. Give him gautlets of dexterity and that blummin great sword for Pladins and he is superb. He also has great saving throws. More importantly, for me, he seems to chat with most of the rest of group, which adds to the atmosphere.

As for a replacement, firstly do you need one? Unless you turn evil I'm sure he will stay until the end of the game if you manage him right - he does have to go on a quest but it can be a short one. If you do need to replace him then who else have you got in the party? as that will affect the choice. Personally I use his as a good second row fighter and also make use of his crossbow skills, but my group is full of tanks. Another good second row candidate with ranged skills is Minsc (unless he is your tank) or maybe Valygar. Mazzy is almost a Paladin but fights quite differently to Keldorn. Anomen wants to be a Paladin but I think is very different to Keldorn (and very annoying too).

Perhaps if you could tell us who is in your group and how you are using Keldorn (tank, second row, ranged, conversation) it would be easier to make a useful suggestion. But I'd keep him anyway.

Kheldorn is an excellent addition for any good aligned party. He can use the fabulous carsomyr sword and his dispell magic is a *lifesaver*.
During the unseeing eye quest you´d find some gaunts of dex that will significantly improve his AC and ranged weapons THACO.

[IMG] Try out yourself Kevlar. Only a coward would think such a thing without trying himself, asking others instead ... :D
