Keldorn and Viconia

    Is there anyway (not by cheating) to avoid the fight between Keldorn and Viconia? Such as a high Charisma or something like that.

    They are 2 of my favorite characters.. it is unfortunate I can't have both at the same time. =(

    Its been my experience that you can have a conversation pop up between two NPCs, immediately reload the game, and then never have that conversation occur for the rest of the game.

    I've heard on occassion that this can be used to get around the "in the blue corner, Keldorn, in the red corner, Mistress Viccy" though I myself have never tried it.

    Maybe you still consider that cheating, but that's as good as I can come up with.

    Btw, I also never had these two in my party - how does it actually happen, do I have to choose one of them and the other leaves or is it actually a fight until one of them (I wager Vicky would bite it quickly) dies? Can I help Keldorn to kill her or vice-versa?

    Prolly should try it out myself, but I just hate NPC's dying - last time I killed Vallygal to gain entrance to sphere and that left a bad taste in my mouth...

    There's a patch here you can download to avoid this. Other than that, there's no real other way. That kinda stuff happens in the real world too, so don't feel bad.

    [​IMG] Try playing in multiplayer mode. That's the only way we've played so far, and all we've gotten as far as NPC interaction is one weak exchange between Cernd and Aerie. :(

    Actually there is a way.

    When they start fighting, simply Maze Keldorn (Viccy is immune ;) ). Viccy won't see him and thus you'll be able to recruit her back in the party. Move her away from the sight, Keldorn will return from the "maze" and won't see Viccy so you'll be able to recruit him back too. The fight won't repeat.

    First Maze scroll you can buy in Underdark. You can't collect it as random treasure.

    Want my opinion? Slay Keldorn. What do you need him for anyway? Unless your hero is female. :p

    You can never have too many paladins in a group. ;) I plan on making a party with a Cavalier, Keldorn, Mazzy, and (maybe) even Anomen. :D

    That is an interesting method of stopping the fight. I definitely don't want to do cheating of any kind... but I'm not sure if I consider that cheating. Maybe in the maze Keldorn would cool off ;)

    Just out of curiosity, will Viconia and Keldorn have any dialogue after the fight?

    Anomen? He's not a pallie. But better "tank" than Keldorn will ever be. This goes for Mazzy too.

    btw, does this fight between Kel and Vic occurs soon after you get both of them in the party or is it entirely random, I mean I would hate for it to happen after I leave to spellhold...

    hehe, I have a new char in making - a seducing female elven ranger - she is going to play Anomen romance in the evil way... and hoping that he disposes of that little Avariel as well... well, if not I'll ask korgie... anyways I will have 2 free spots soon ... might as well play out another tragic story...
