Kangaxx : How to kill it without cheating

    [​IMG] Kangax, the first time I met him, he whip my ass away :(, i play with a sorcerer solo and I defeat the red dragon very easely but Kangax, how do you kill that?

    Search the board; there have been many (MANY!) threads concerning the disposal of Kangaxx.

    His second form requires +4 or better weapons to hit I believe. To protect from imprisonment, a Scroll of Magic Protection, or the spell Spell Immunity choosing Abjuration will work. Barbarians can rage to be immune also.

    You need a +4 weapon so what about using Spell Immunity (and choose abjuration) and use the Staff of Rymn +4. Also cool when you play in combination with Tenser Transformation, wich changes your mages in a good fighter. So cast spell immunity, tenser transformation and start kicking Gaxx with the staff of rymn, should be easy.

    Try taking on the twisted rune first to get the staff of the Magi - then use the tactics already mentioned in conjunction with Projct image.

    [​IMG] Summon two fire elementals and make them to be protected from magic, although one gerater elemental is more than enough. They kick some serious butt when they're protected from magic.

    Easiest way to beat him:

    3 steps:

    1. get +4 weapon

    2. buy protection from magic scrolls from the adventure's mart (may only be available in chapt.6 .. not sure

    3. kill the first form.. then use ONE character with protection from magic cast on him/her to whack away.

    kangaxx will just stand there trying (unsuccessfully) to imprison you.

    He's solo so there' sonly one character... give him/her Staff of Rymn or Staff of Magi, Tenser Transformat and Spell Immunity... and give him some items that increase strength... easy enough.
