Seeing as most of us in here are guys, I was just having a think about the romance sice of things.

Has anybody created a female player and found out if they can have romances, if so, with who?

Hmmm.....nobody seems to be doing it, and it's not a high priority with me either, but I've heard that you can romance with Anomen or Haer Dalis.

And I also heard that Aerie and Haer would shack up along the way.

 

I have had something with Anomen. Very sad because he left me after his family thingy.

But then he wasn't my type

Say, another thing, why do I get the feeling that the portraits in BG2 for the males give a too polished image?

I mean Anomen and Haer Dalis look like classic pretty-boy pop singers.

Can't they make more raw looking portraits without making the guy ugly?

What about a romance with Korgan? Or Edwin? Or Yoshimo?

 

I have a female Half-Orc barbarian(Brunhilde) and she has been getting hot and heavy with Anomen. But then I dumped him in favor of Keldorn. However Keldorn is such a "Ned Flanders" that he won't respond. First it was subtle hints and sly winks, and when that didn't work nudges and lewd suggestions, and finally last night, she smacked him across the back of the head, laid on the ground with legs open and screamed "I need a man!". Keldorn's response? "Hope you find one. Goodnight!". Brunhilde is considering poisoning him in order to "nurse him back to health". Or maybe just poisoning him...

I think she might be able to get involved with Hae'r Dilas (or whatever his name is), but he's such a skinny little ass, and definitely is not capable of pleasing a big strong barbarian woman like her.

 

Hey i was wondering, this time around im going for Aerie, I picked that paladin from the sewers up, Him and Aerie talk every now and then. If they are gunna hook up. Tell me now, because ill ditch the paladin, whats his name Keldorn, and sell his stuff. and go pick up Korgon or someone. maybe Vulguar (what ever his name is) and i'll go do his quest...

 

I don't think Keldorn is going to screw around, because he is married, lawfull and later he gets his wife imprisioned for cheating on him. (And the rival is hung!)

 

Yeah, Taluntain is absolutely correct... if you're a female, the haughty, whiney Anomen is your only chance to get some lovin'. Haer'Dalis does, it appears, flirt a little bit, but that's just his character, and will never turn into a romance.

Many females on other boards are extremely angry about this.

 

Vaylgar is better than Keldorn in my opinion.

 

Brunhildes face is pale. She slowly staggers to her feet. Shaking hands reach for her blade. She takes a deep breath, tries to steady herself. In a minute it won't matter, she tells herself. But it does.
Eventually her blood leaks out the door and is spotted by a drunkard nagivating the hallway with the grace of a drunken honeybee. Faces wide with shock, gasps of disbelief. The blood splattered note with the three words scatched into it is given to the local watch.
