Hmm, I just read a review (on Amazon.com) that said that her books The Dawning of a New Age, The Day of the Tempest, and The Eve of the Maelstrom were awful. I recently read them, and loved them.

Is this a widely spread belief, and am I just an idiot for thinking they were good? Or is this review just done poorly?

Quite frankly, I dislike the trilogy. it´s like someone gave her a list of things she had to stick int he books and so she did, with very little transition and fiulling the rest with cheap, nano-esque padding tricks.

Oh, I see. I jst thought that her characters were really something. Of course, after reading half of the Dragonlance books there are, characters tend to blend into each other, but I certainly liked some of hers.

I liked them when I read them, years ago, but since then I've actually read fantasy that isn't shared-universe stuff from TSR. Suffice it to say that I seriously doubt the books would stand up to the new benchmarks I've established in my mind (Black Company, Malazan Book of the Fallen, Song of Ice and Fire, Kushiel's Legacy, et al) if I reread them.
