Now, I'm fairly certain that BIS had WotC's permission when it came to IWD2. However, in some or all of the text from the books in the libraries they included in the game was copied word for word from the D&D core & expansion books. I've made absolutely sure about this. I don't know, maybe I'm just a loon  :spin: :rolling: .

    And your question is?
Of course it's copied - if it wasn't a game with WotC's rules, it wouldn't be copied. And yes, BIS has a permission to do so, but also has an obligation to put WotC "intro" that shows up when the game starts.

I guess that I don't really have a question, more of a comment. Sorry for the misleading post name. I just think that, though copying directly from the books is the best source, BIS should throw a little something in there themselves. I don't know, maybe it's just from other games that I get this 'Unoriginal bastards just copied from those books because they're are extremely lazy.' feeling. It just seems that they should add a little of themselves to those texts in the game, besides of course MAKING the game world, they could put a little humor, or perhaps something that would come in hand later, like battle stradegies. Once again, maybe I'm just a loon :spin:  :rolling: .

EDIT - Okay, this is obviously a failing argument, I'll go sit in the corner now. ;)
