IWD crashes when i try to start a new game

    [​IMG] i just bought IWD 3 in 1 box-set and im trying to play the first one. i downloaded the most recent patch for the game and when i try and start a new game it crashes im running on vista but the box says its vista compatiable i tried emptying the games cache and i even uninstalled/re-installed the game but nothing.

    Try reinstalling the game without patching it. It may come pre-patched. When you install it, you should be able to see which version it is and compare that to the patch.

    you may have to install it outside the programs folder all i did was remove the program folder from hwere i wanted it so it went to c:/Black Isle instead and i have no problems installing patches or mods and im sure some programs and games have problems with the way vista does things with the programs folder.
