Issues with the Challenge Rating system

    So I've beaten the game twice in normal mode and once in Heart of Fury mode. I found that towards the end of HoF the challenge rating system was truly skewed against my party. I had 6 characters average level 24-25 and I wouldn't get any experience for killing fallen bladesingers. Never mind if I didn't watch my ass they'd butcher my characters. I would think the CR system would keep me from getting experience from cakewalks, not moderately difficult fights.

    This is more a rant than anything else. Please feel free to ignore it.

    That is why I always use a tweaked moncrate.2da table that provides some XP for every fight. It's not the challenge rating system that is flawed per se, just the values they put into the original table. You can amend the table yourself to put in some more appropriate values (just don't make them all too high otherwise you'll level up too quickly and it'll be silly for different reasons)

    ^Or leave some of your characters UNLEVELED. I left most of my fighter types at level 20s in Severed Hand and leveled up ONLY my casters. As casters gain too much power in a levelup, and fighters do not matter too much after level20 or such. It ended up Slayer KnightsofXvims giving a HUGE 3000XP and it was well worth it!!! In the LAST battle I leveled up them and have a MUCH higher level than possible. CONSIDER it!
