This time, NWVault's hall of fame interview features Lord Alex and Lady Oonagh, the authors of the hall of fame module Island Adventures. Here's a snip:

    2) For newbies here, could you give us an overview of Island Adventures, covering Chapter 1, if necessary?

Alan: The concept for Chapter 1 stemmed from a story idea of Anya's that centered on traveling to a small village where everyone spoke like they were indoctrinated members of the same, bizarre cult. The story idea for Chapter 2 is less concrete and more centered on the notion of alignment, a philosophical aspect of D&D that has puzzled me from the very first moment I sat down with pen and paper in hand. Basically, the purpose of Chapter 2 is to enable the player to puzzle out their own take on morality, as it applies to the game world and its myriad characters. If the story-telling is successful, the mod may challenge the player's pre-conceived notions of good vs. evil and law vs. chaos.
Anya: We initially thought of an Odyssey-like series of stories that took place on islands (thus "Island Adventures"). The overlaying story was almost an afterthought because we wanted something to tie them together.
