I'm replaying the BG series from the beginning (little Christmas gift to myself), but after many years and recently finishing NWN, I desperately miss being able to hit Tab/x and have the screen light up. Is there a mod somewhere to put that function into BGI?

    Thanks!

The only thing that does this, as far as i'm aware, is BGTuTu which ports the entire BG1 game into the BG2 engine...what this means is you must have BG2 in order to have this feature.

    Yes, this is right.

You can read more and download EasyTutu(the simplest distribution which allows you to play BG1 and BG2) here: http://www.usoutpost31.com/easytutu/

You can also download BG1 NPC Project, which adds banters, interjections, small quests and romances for BG1 characters, bringing them to BG2 level, here: http://gibberlings3.net/bg1npc

If you have any further questions, please, post in ToB forum(as Tutu-related stuff is discussed there) - we'll be happy to help.

[IMG] I can just move this thread to the ToB forum if Cat wants to discuss Tutu further.

I love the tab function too, I found it most confusing when I played NWN2 where it's been moved to the "Z" key. then of course I got used to that, and move back to BGII where "Z" is the quick key for resting... Needless to say I always had spells in that game!
