Is it safe to purchase a game here at SP?

    I want to get the first BG and ToTSC expansion (The original sage pack) But before sending the credit card information I'd like to know if any of you had bought game via SP and what are your general comments. Also will it ship to Canada?

    And I heard doing so will earn me a portrait is that true?

    I have bought several books and TOB (before joining SP, too bad for Tal :p )from Amazon over the years. Never did they give me any grief. They are also very generous in case you want to give something back. I can really recommend them.

    As for the avatar: Just let Tal know what you bought, and when. He will sent you a link to a site from which to choose your avatar/portrait. :)

    [​IMG] Amazon's reputation is spotless, it's as simple as that. It doesn't get any safer to buy online than at Amazon.

    But if you're in Canada, first check if the Canadian Amazon has what you want... See here for info on how to buy via the Canadian Amazon, for which there aren't any direct buy links on SP.

    Amazon.com is the one-stop-shop of the internet...kind of like Wal Mart but without all the white-trash. :rolleyes: I've bought a lot of stuff off of amazon.com several times and I'll continute to do so in the future when they have the cheaper price.

    To me, amazon.com has earned a :thumb: :thumb:

    Oh, and if that doesn't answer your question...YES, SP and amazon.com are totally safe to make online purchases on. :rolling:
