    [IMG] Finished SoA with my monk semi-solo build; Chavesh and Imoen facing Irenicus. So damn easy with the high levels from only taking two characters. Chavesh ripped through the demons like tissue paper, and was pretty much immune to every spell Jon-boy threw, even after he warped himself to the lower area. Imoen was dispelling with Pierce Magic, Breach, and an occasional whack from the SotM, and finally had him laid bare. So I Timestop, Improved Alacrity, and throw the whole damn spell book at him.

    Problem was, all that stuff (including 11 Melf's Acid Arrows) outright shattered his scripting. When the Timestop ended and he got pummelled with over two dozen spells at once, he did the shift back from Slayer form into his usual one. And nothing happened. No cutscene, no getting my soul back, nothing. So, I ended up having to look through his script with IE to find out how to trigger it, and it turned out to be unbelievably simple.

    One single command, and it triggered as normal. Those of you who have fought so hard only to be rewarded with absolutely nothing in return, ending up having to restart, you never need fear that again. So without further ado, I present to you the command that will make sure that your efforts against Irenicus will never again be made in vain:

    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("DefeatedJon","GLOBAL",1)

    Thanks, Fel. I've never run into this problem, but this is just how I like my solutions: available beforehand.

    Are you taking your monk into ToB, or are you finally going to start the adventures of "Stabby", the Murderous Dwarf? :D

    I'll probably be taking Chavesh into ToB right away. Part of the build being that he only takes Bhaalspawns with him (with the exceptions of: Yoshimo for the plot and thieving skills, Cernd from the duel with Faldorn to being made the Heroes of Trademeet since he really ought to be one of them, and Valygar for the duration of the Planar Sphere), I'm kind of anxious to get my hands on Sarevok finally. Stabby's a ways off, with other games (3 in BG1, 2 in Tutu, and 2 others in SoA) already in progress, and something of a backlog on stuff I haven't even started yet.

    Also, if I were to type this in without actually beating JonBon what happens? Do I auto-win?? Or do I irrevocably break my game?

    @SS:
    I have no idea. It would help to know the specifics of the fight, and even then I can only give you educated guesses as to the most logical coding possibilities.

    @Faraaz:
    Most likely it would be an "auto-win", so long as Jon-boy had busted out of the gate in Hell before you use the code. (Using it beforehand may lead to problems, or it may not.) The script has lines for destroying the demons he summons as well, so I'd bet it would work at any time during the fight.

    You don't get the XP for the demons, but the XP for killing JonBon (if any) is part of the cutscene, I think, so yeah, you'd get that.

    Does killing JonBon give XP in the unmodded game? It does in modded game, all his incarnations give good (50k+) xp, including the very final (gasp) form. But I never noticed an XP reward in unmodded game, as the cutscene cuts in immediately, and IIRC Jon does not 'die.' He screams 'NO NO NO I can not be beaten' etc etc and cutscene of re-claiming soul appears.

    However, in my modded game, his last form actually DIES. My kensai has even blasted him into chunks of meat. :evil: Thus it gives XP, then final cutscene of re-claiming spirit starts.
