A rather short interview with Aidan Scanlan, a designer on the Neverwinter Nights team was posted at Lost Universe.
    A snippet:

How many different ways can you play this game in mutiplayer (castle storming etc.) giving a little description on how it will work.

The first and foremost way to play a multiplayer game is to form an adventuring party and play through an adventure. The other ways are as limitless as your imagination. Modules involving arena combat, dungeon races, castle stormings, and capture the flag are only the beginning. Counter-Strike was never foreseen by the makers of Half-Life, for instance, and we expect to be equally surprised by what the Neverwinter Nights fan community comes up with. That's what makes working on a project such as this so exciting.
