I wanted some different sound sets for a multiplayer party, which I decided will be all girls. I d/l the 25 NPC Sound Sets from SP and extracted the ones I wanted to my BG/Sounds folder. I went into the game and created a character and the only sound sets available were the 4 that came with the game. The new sound sets are in the Sounds folder, but in their own folders and unaccessable through the character creation screen.

I checked what got extracted to the Sounds folder, which was folders for the NPCs I wanted. I tried extracted again, this time opening the appropriate folder in Winrar, selecting the .wav files and extracting those. They still showed up as folders in the Sound folder. WTF am I doing wrong? :help:

Sounds files must be in sounds folder, not in subfolder. Open any folder named after NPC and copy wav files directly to BG/sounds.

They are in the Sounds folder. It's just sub directories of NPCs in the Sounds directory: Alora's .wavs are in BG/Sounds/Alora. I have folders in folders! How do I access them when creating a character? Nothing new comes up when selecting the voice.

I did what you suggested, which worked, but that d/l needs a readme or something. :nolike: Why bother making something like that when stupid people like me can't figure out how to get it to work?

Copy all wav files from BG/Sounds/Alora into BG/Sounds.

    EDIT: You were faster :)
