[IMG] My SoA won't install. on the second disk it said I had a problem with moviiintro.bif or something. It mentions a .cab file not corresponding if that helps. it gave me the option to retry but evey time I did the meter went up by 2% and threw up the same problem. this happened till 100% where I finally said cancel and it said insert disk 3. I did this and then disk 4 and after a bit it said there was a problem with endmovie or something similar. what do I do?

Sounds like your CDs might be scratched. Try cleaning them. Failing that, you might need a new copy.

For the time being, just choose minimum installation then, the corrupted files may not be relevant enough to prevent you playing.
If you don't like swaping discs then manually copy all the data CDs to your BG2 folder and edit file baldur.ini :)

Try cleaning your CD and then try installing once more. As Felinoid said in the other topic, either your CD is screwed up, or you CD drive is. Also try installing the game on another computer, if it installs fine there (but still won't install on your comp) then it's most likely your drive thats messed up.
