In ToL, What to do with gems? Spoiler Alert

    [​IMG] So, I got all the gems which I first tried to place in the "portal" and it conjured monsters. So, I'm like, what do I do with them? I took them all to their respective "alters" in the next lowest levels and placed them there and dealt with the stone nuisances, but they respawn if I revisit the area which tells me I did something wrong. I like puzzles but this is tedious. What do you do with them? I want out of here.

    I know the feeling, that level got to me (mainly due to it running so slowly - and I saw nothing to explain it). Anyway to answer your problem:

    Take all five gems and place them in chest in the lower level you didn't get one out of (it's the one on the left edge of the screen about half way down), you'll then have to collect the gems (now flawless) from the altars - then go to the portal and stick them into the slots then.

    [​IMG] Yeah, I read over that scroll again and figured well, that must be the place and gave it a shot and it worked. Then I went through the portal and fought all the spectres and the Luremaster. Now, how the hell do I get out of this area? The halfling is dead after the conversation when he turns into a Rashaska or whatever, so what the hell do I do to get out of here?

    You neef to get the ring out of the throne and use it through the use item button which will take you back to the inn.
