Improved Battles Bug

    got the improved battled mod to work at last, and its been going great so far. beat up mencars party, killed those flying wyverns, found out how impossible the knights of dark renown are, and decided to rush through my fighter stronghold quests.

    i can beat all of the roenall soldiers rather easily, but lord roenall doesnt die. vorpal hits from my planetar, crtl-y, being beater by my cavalier and mazzy for the whole duration of improved haste, nothing can kill him.

    is this a well-known bug, or is there some serious and rare problem with my game?

    No it's not a bug.
    You just have to kill ALL the soldiers of Roenall (2 groups) before you can kill him.Otherwise he is invulnerable even to the CTRL-Y.

    And the most difficult part of the fight is that you have to kill ALL of them in 1 hour ! Otherwise you lose the stronghold.

    I read the link, and now I know that my problem is no second wave is spawning. The first 6 soldiers go down pretty fast but the next group doesnt arrive, leaving me to watch an invincible roenall whacking my party until the timer runs out.

    and suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    I have encountered the same problem 2-3 times.I don't know what causes it, but after I reloaded the game everything worked fine (just be sure to reload a game before the fight with Roenal's soldiers starts).

    Also the second group will not spawn if first you haven't killed everyone from the first group.Summons included ;)
    Search the map for Mord.Swords,Inv.Stalkers or Fire/Air Elementals; sometimes they will not attack and you don't see them.
