Improved Abazigail

    [​IMG] That is one tough fight! I have tried 4 times now when i met him without the improved script he was a walk in the park now, WOW! He he immune to lower resistance? I had Edwin cast timestop+improved alacricity and then pound him with 3*lower 2* pierce magic and some khelben and ruby ray. When the timestop wears off i cast chain contingency 3*abi-dalzím and nothing! Abaizigail still has super high magic resistence. I tried to cast a magic missile too see and not one got through his resistence! I dont know what to do.

    I almost killed him the last time i met but everyone was dead except me (ranger/cleric 13/26) and Abaizigail and the wimp mazed me when he was on badly injured. My party was chunked almost everyone of them only edwin was resurrectable.

    How have you guys defeated the improved Abazigail? I had similar problems with the improved Demogorgon lots of lower resistances and still no effect of 3*abi.

    the edit: No matter i killed him now on the fifth try. In my previous attempts i had concentrated all my firepower on Abaizigal himself and igored the others that was stupid. So now i killed his henchmen one by one first wich was quite easy and then all could pound Abaizigal without being disturbed by other pesky wyrms. The lower resists worked now when i used them without timestop. Funny how a different strategy can make the same battle completely different i didnt have one casualty this time and not even one severely injured :).
    Off to see what the improved Sendai is like.

    Hm... Before I read your edit I was wondering what the hell happened to all your other party members! Then I realized in your edit you *were* being ridiculous and not using your tanks was stupid. Anyways, a different stradegy is always good to try! Good luck with Sendai! She'll be tough if you thought Improved Abizagal was tough!

    I couldn't beat regular Abizgal without turning the difficulty down :o ... That was with my party with three nearly no spell tanks (me, a beserker, Minsc and Sarevok).

    YAY! I'm just one post away from becoming a goblin and it's only my third day on this forum :) :) :) .

    [​IMG] Well when i changed tacticts Abaizigail was very easy i just aproached it in a completely wrong way. All my chars were bunked up together were you come in so Aerie, Jan and Edwin all with superlow hp got killed almost instantly and my tanks were stunned all the time but when i spread out my party it wasnt tough. The small dragons were tough in long range cause they casted strong spells (high level cone of cold killed half my party twice).

    Sendai is laughable easy i am always disapointed when a boss dont recquire a reload i downloaded the imprioved bosses because i didnt have to reload once during any bossfight in my first run through.
    Im still having problems with Demogorgon does anyone have any good strategy against the improved Demogorgon?
