[IMG] As many of you know, while saving or loading games or areas in BGII, tips are shown. One such tip was

"The adventure doesn't have to end here, you can import your BGII character into Neverwinter Nights"

Is this true? How does that work, since Neverwinter Nights has a lower XP cap and different classes, not to mention an entire different system of just about everything!

You could recreate your items in the toolset and make a character with identical stats and levels.

I once used my Bhaalspawn character in the OC, it was pretty fun to roleplay him, though I couldn't really understand why they have to train him in their little academy.

Why did they ever put that message up?!? (more importantly who, and where do they live?) Its almost as funny as "You must gather your party before venturing forth". They may aswell have said "The adventure doesn't have to end here, you can import your BGII character into Neverwinter Nights where the story is interesting and the single player campaign never gets boring"...oh well.

I guess the 3rd ed. rules came out in the meantime and at that point it might have been too late to change it.

Or perhaps a well-intentioned plan that went awry...
