I'll answer, though I'm not sure I want you and your friend psychoanalyzing me!

1: No to Groenig doing it.

2: The Doctor who is like a sentient lobster or whatever he is.

    3)Favourite movie/program/cartoon/tv show quote?
All men die, not every man truly lives (Braveheart)

4)Would hover cars help reduce traffic? Or would they just cause higher fatality levels in accidents? GIven the dropping IQs in the civilized world, I say more deaths.

5)What religious backround do you come from?
I'm a Mormon, as most here know to their sorrow.

6)Who was the greatest French Monarch?
    I'd say Charlamagne(sp), but for leader, I'd go with Napolean, but since he wasn't a monarch . . .

7)What does AEMMA stand for? No F*****G clue.

8)Name the ten greatest influences on your life.
Dad, Mom, Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, Winston Churchill, Pierre Trudeau, Brigham Young, Spencer W. Kimball, my grade 12 social studies teacher, and Danny DeVito (no joke!)

9)What is better? Tomato ketchup or Horse riding.
Umm, wow, weird question. I'll go with the ketchup, since I use it a lot more than I go riding.

    10) Muscles or Brains?
    Brains.

    Farnsworth: Manic
    Zapp Brannigan: Comic

    6)

    8)Again just pure interest.

9)This questions is based on me and my best friends theory that the entire world is split into two camps.
Those who are fat. (my friend)
    Those who ride horses. (me)
Therefore this questions exists to establish which group you are in.

    10)
Brains: You are more muscle than Brains.
Muscle: You are more Brains than muscle.

This quiz is, of course, a load of rubbish, but i was bored and i decided to have a stab at it. Say what you will, but now i still want people to answer HONESTLY and not look up what bits they like in this post before answering!!!!

1 - A series of Discworld cartoons? For the love of good, NO!! That crap needs to be crushed, and fast.

2 - Zapp may be hilarious on many levels, Bender may appeal to many drunks, and Zoidberg may be side-splittingly pathetic, but for all-round stupidity, memorable lines, and for the way he interacts with everyone else, it's just gotta be Fry. (Plus, Billy West is a GENIUS)

3 - Far too many to choose from.

4 - Instead of just accidents on one level, we'd have several more levels on which to have accidents, plus there would be many more cars to crash, and think about landing, and aeroplanes getting in the way, and birds, and how would you control it??

5 - My background is faintly protestant.

6 - Charlamagne, 'cos he invented paladins.

    7 - Americans are Evil Malignant Murderous Asses. (j'k :p )

8 - Mum, Dad, The Simpsons, Futurama, My Year 9 English Teacher, My First Girlfriend, My Year 11 History Teacher, REM, My Computer, Nostalgia.

    9 - Ketchup.

10 - Your brain IS a muscle, foo. But still brains.

    4) Reduce traffic(but not greatly)
    5) If you mean in which god I beleive then I'm an atheist. If you mean in which god my family, friends etc belive in, they're Orthodox Christians.
    6) The only French monarch I know is Charlemagne...so I'll say him.
    7) I don't know
    8) Boy Scouting, my family, my friends, Tolkien, CRPGs(BG1&2, IWD1&2, NWN), D&D, that's all I think.

Republic is a state which has no Monarch as head of state. The Roman Republic ended, as Octavian became Emperor. -> Octavian was a Monarch, title: Emperor, Rome an "Empire". France ceased to be a republic, as Napoleon crowned himself emperor. France was an Empire then.

Sidenote: I am not happy with the lack of good definitions on the net. The one above isn't that good and correct. When does someone put a decent lexica into the net. Without having to pay for usage. Never. Dam.
Oh, it's my favourite British Queen/Empress.

And by the way, not the only one in the British Roaly family who held the dual-title King/Emperor. Her beloved grandson did the same.

    Picture me.

1)A series of Discworld cartoons, directed and created by Matt Groening. Yes or no?

No idea. Gummy bears for me.

2)Who is your favourite Futurama character?

No idea what Futurama is. My favourite characters differ per book genre or film type.

    3)Favourite movie/program/cartoon/tv show quote?

Star wars ones. Particularly "let the force be with you, young Skywalker, but you're not a Jedi yet"

4)Would hover cars help reduce traffic? Or would they just cause higher fatality levels in accidents?

Some risk reduced, some other risk increased, some eliminated, some introduced.

5)What religious backround do you come from?

    Roman Catholic.

6)Who was the greatest French Monarch?

    Charlemagne.

    Corrections:

Napolean was a monarch, whether a legal one or not. He was the Emperor of French Empire and the King of Italy plus some other more or less nonsense titles.

Empress Victoria is Queen Victoria, who in the year 1876 was declared the Empress of India. Not by the Indians, of course.

Disclaimer: Whenever I use the term King or Queen with reference to a British head of state after the year 1688 it's for identification purpose only. Long live King James!

Charles Martel (Martel=hammer) was not a monarch, he was a maiordomus, more or less equivalent to stewart (like in Scotland or Gondor ;) ) and a hereditary one. Only Pepin, his son and the father of Charlemagne became king in 751.

    7)What does AEMMA stand for?

I have no idea, but I would certainly check it if I cared enough and if I could put this knowledge to some use.

8)Name the ten greatest influences on your life.

God, religion, the way I was brought up (or rather brought up myself), choices I've made, somewhat peculiar life experience, books I've read

9)What is better? Tomato ketchup or Horse riding.

What sort of comparison is this? Ketchup must be spicy and I've never riden a horse. Give me computer or booze if there's no computer or a woman if there's no possibility for the obtaining of the former two.

    10) Muscles or Brains?

Brains all the way. Although it's quite possible that I'm more about wisdom than intelligence per d&d criteria. Don't that charisma is what helps you avoid the need for the use of both ;)

Ahm, Whilhem I, a.k.a. Wilhelm I of Prussia, was the emperor you mean. Wilhelm the II, a.k.a. Wilhelm II of Prussia, was the son of emperor Frederick III ("the great hope", who died of cancer, soon as he herited the throne) and Empress Vicky. Wilhelm I is the one who died very old, Wilhelm II was the one, who had physical traumas from a very complicated birth and couldn't move his arm.

Just believe me, an emperor is a monarch. One who rules alone, but has some legitimacy, which makes a difference to an average despot. It's just a differnce in title, a Shah is a monarch too. The emperor of Japan is a monarch too. And so on.

    mon -> Single one
    archy -> rules

only a single one rules -> monarchy

The title must not be king or queen.

Sidenote: My favourite theory about the reasons for World war one is, that Wilhelm II always felt belittled by the rest of his family, got angry and wanted revenge. And it wasn't at all about an ostrich who got hungry.
