Imoen - sudden freakouts

    [​IMG] This is my first play through the game, so I don't know if this is a manifestation of her Bhaalspawnness or a bug. Ever since Imoen joined my party in Spellhold, I've run into problems with combat. At one point or another, during every battle, she goes berserk. Yellow circle, occasionally attacks party members, and all. Is this normal?
    If not, for reference, right now I've defeated Irenicus and am trying to escape the island, have no set script on her, and have installed a couple components of the Ease-of-Use mod. Thanks a lot for reading this, and if you can help, great.

    I don't remember anything like this. Probably a bug (or maybe something to do with the mod).

    Hmmm, i would say its not the mod as, ease of use does little to change characters although i do think it does have an Imoen dialogue fix.

    The only thing i can think of is that her morale is being affected (although this would result in panic rather than beserk) or she is using some equipment that puts her in that state. The only thing like this that i know of is the two handed berserker sword you get in Waukeens Promanade but Imoen cant use this.

    Another possibility is that its a bug. What patches, and other bugfixes have you used. What mods (other thatn EoU) have you installed aswell?

    Why are you playing throught the game for the first time witha mod installed anyway? Uninstall it and play it through without any mods at all...then install all the mods you want. :rolling:

    It's all back to normal now. Yay!
    I put in Ease of Use because I wanted the infinite item stacking and the bugfixes. I'm a bit lazy is all.

    I don't know if anyone brought this up, so forgive me.

    In ToB, Imoen will randomly rant about how scared she is of being the next slayer. I know you get XP depending on your answers, and that her stats increase a LITTLE bit...but is it possible for Imoen to turn nasty like the way you did in SoA?

    from my experience imoen never turns into the slayer, so it could happen, but it is probably quite unlikely

    Yeah, I think that it is mainly due to how the taint has affected you differently than it has Imoen, as that is emphasized on multiple occasions throughout spellhold and up till the end of SoA
