I haven't decided yet if this would be any less amusing were it a different kind of soup. (he he Get it? Clam Chowder?)

    I hate myself.

Extremely evil - but equally extremely funny.

Gah! I for one find this simply disgusting, and not amusing in the least.

At least the thing was still rolled up...

Disgusting indeed, but as a former restaurant employee I gotta say that you can get pretty fed up with some customers. And just the fact that the entire party wanted their soups re-heated rings alittle bell in my head. I´m not saying that she deserved it just because she couldn´t eat while speaking, but I could never ask for something like that. If it´s hot when served it´s up to you if you eat it while it´s hot or if you choose to chat instead.

This reminds me of kids using condoms as water balloons. Just imagine the reaction of the victims if they were filled with clam chowder instead...

Well, that is just wrong. Funny beyond belief since it didn't happen to me, but wrong nonetheless.

Methinks someone has been watching Fight Club too much.

Kinda funny considering I too have briefly (about 10 months) worked in hospitality before, but just a bit too wrong.

The thing I wonder about is do the people at the restaurant keep a healthy supply of condoms around to "spice up" people's food? This isn't a first, after all... :hmm:

As long as it's not used there's nothing really horrifying about that. I mean, a condom basically amounts to some treated rubber.

Aye, it is harmless after all, I agree with rastilin.

Allthough the waiter ceratinly lost his cool, and acted in an unprofessional manner, I can understand given the contempt that some are shown by customers. Allthough I do not condone this action, I am sure the woman 'had it coming', so to speak. And after all, it seems that only her pride was injured.

A shame, the wrong thing to do, but harmless.

The clam chowder joke was in poor taste, but the timing was excellent.

Also, there have been some really freaky things found in all kinds of drive-though orders. People just get tired of each other, I guess.
