Ice Temple - Quest Completion Issue

    Hi, thanks to everyone who helped me.I found that if you kill Lysara first time you see her then go to the painting,and talk to it,take option3*Lysan* kill the Evil shadow first,everything else is easy.Can anyone help me in the caves.Barud Barzam wants all the monsters killed he will reward you.I have done this,and he still says i havent done quest! :eek:

    It is a known bug. If you don't have the latest patch do a search on the forums here that will help you find a thread that explains how to use the cheat console to tell the game that you have done it.

    Search for River Caves, Duergar and Barud Barzam quest type topics.

    Hope this points in the right directions.

    PS, I never had the problem since I downloaded the patch pretty quick.

    that quest is bugged; meaning you cant complete the quest if you killed all the monsters before you got the quest. One way is to reload to before killing them all, leave one alive then get the quest.
    Otherwise you have to download the 2.01v patch.

    I'm positive that you can get the quest after you killed everything and complete it at once. I've tried on 3 different machines with v2.00. However, there is another one which will always have this bug in whatever order I do it.

    So it seems that some games are bugged whatever you do while some are not.
