I need some help with the chat room

    HELP!! I can't figure this out. (Sorry, never tried it out before) So, if I want to use the friendly arm inn chat room, do I need to type /ns register password email in the nick name box to register or something like that?? Please give me some guiding on how to use the chatroom.

    [​IMG] Do you have IRC? If you do, you.... oh, well.
    I copied it instead:
    NOTE: You can use another chat client (preferrably mIRC, a small download) access Friendly Arm Inn & The Nameless Room.
    After you download and install mIRC, simply click on the "Add" button in the "Connect" category, add the servers chat.planetz.net and irc.webmaster.com, click on "Connect to IRC Server" and join the channel #sorcerers (FAI) or #sorcerers_nwn(TNR).If one of the servers turns out to be down at any time, simply choose the other one to connect.Most chatting usually occurs at roughly 8 pm - 12 pm GMT. (In other words, when I have the time to drop by).We also chat in FAI more frequently on weekends.

    Tal that is the part I didn't understood, so I have to download this IRC and then I can enter the chatroom? When I go to the friendly arm inn chatroom now I can connect and it seems like somebody is in the chatroom but I am not sure if he can recieve anything I'm saying. Does this have anything to do that I have to download this IRC?

    (And do I have to go trough all this touble to discuss a custom avatar?)

    Silverblade, you probably met an AI bot there (Elminster)... That's why he ain't replying...

    Anyway, to register your nick you'll have to use some IRC, you can't do it with that java script. At least I couldn't.
    But you CAN enter the chatroom without registered nick.

    And besides, try to get in the chatroom tonight after 22:00 CET. It can be pretty busy there that time.

    I had no trouble registering my nick using the java crapplet. You need to enter the chatroom with your unregistered nick first, then on the line where you type your messages, you type the registration command. Which is : /ns register "password" "email" where "password is whatever password you want and "email" is your email address.
