I killed Bandoth...now I've got useless Razorvine Extract.

    When entering Dorn's Deep, I got the razorvine extract before I even talked to Bandoth. I went to give him the Razorvine Extract (first contact with him in the game). He never asked for it. I must have said something to upset him because the next thing I knew he was attacking me. Of course, I chopped him up and was awarded 8000 xp. But now, I guess the Razorvine Extract subquest is void. Any thoughts?

    Yep. The razorvine extract is useless then. And I think he's the only guy that sells Summon Elemental scrolls, so if you didn't buy them from him, you're out of luck with those too...

    According to a walkthru I read, this quest can be buggy if you have the extract before talking with him. You could try loading a save game from before you entered his dwelling, drop the extract on the ground, enter and talk with him to see if you get the quest.

    [​IMG] Bandoth is a real snot, so you have to be careful how you talk with him. He got all hostile with my party the first time that I encountered him.

    You have to be reaaaallll nice and respectful to the old coot.
