How to read books, notes, etc ?

    Is there a way to read books, notes and the like in your inventory? Are they just quest items that you're not really meant to read?

    -----------minor SPOILER-------------------

    No, you CAN read them-

    Just drag them from the inventory screen to the bottom of the screen -the Use Item Icon

    Terjon's note found in Emridy Meadows can be read (no Quest value)

    And-after you pick the lock or have the thief in the Welcome Wench do it- you can read Lareths Diary.

    But BEWARE! Reading Lareths Diary will mark Nulb on your map and you will NOT be able to EVER complete the Clearing the Moathouse Quest-if Terjon gave you that Quest. Terjon needs to be the first to tell you about Nulb for that Quest to complete.
