Well, I ordered ToB a while ago, and I finally got it, so I'm wondering how to install it without any hassles. Right now I have SoA full installed, with the bonus merchants, SoA Baldurdash fix pack, and SoA Baldurdash language update installed. In what order should I add/remove things so I have the same functionalities present in ToB? Finally, which patches/fixes would you recommend?

    Thanks

    Install ToB straight away.
    Then the official ToB patch.
    Then Baldurdash for ToB.

Then any mods you might want to make the game interesting. Only if you have finisherd SoA a couple of times. Ease of Use is good and Tactics if you want to spruce the combat in SoA a bit. Tactics is quite tough though.

Easiest thing to do might be to uninstall SoA, manually delete all your saved games, then reinstall SoA, ToB, ToB Bioware Patch, then Fixpacks in that order.

Failure to listen to this could result in your game being permanently ruined.

Thanks for the replies. Since I don't have all my SoA discs with me, I'll backup my saves and try Malovae's advice first. If this ruins anything I guess I'll have to take a week or so off from BG2, so I can head home and pick my SoA discs up. *crosses fingers*

    Thanks again
