    Hey, how do all these people create custom items for bg2? i mean i want to try it too...i already beat the game but now i want to bash some heads for fun.

    THere should be an item creation guide by Rastor up on SP somewhere. Get that, with the Infinity Engine Editor Pro...which should also be up here somewhere.

    You'd be better served learning a more powerful tool such as Near Infinity or DLTCEP. IEEP is very buggy (and stop being supported years ago) and Cromwell's Smithy is very limited.

    I have used Rastor's tutorial. Very helpful. You shouldn't have any problems creating items with it.
