[IMG] I have several nice images scanned from my magic cards and TSR books (dragonlance and FR). Does anyone know how to place them in the game and in what format? Thanks in advance

  2. [IMG] Find your Icewind Dale main directory (the one where idmain.exe is). Look for a folder called "portraits". If it's not there create it. Then put your custom pics in there. They are .bmp files, 1 to 7 letters maximum for the file name. Small portraits have an S at the end (ex: berks.bmp), and must be 36x58 pixels, 8 bit color only).
Large protraits have an L at the end (ex: berkl.bmp) and must be 110x170 pixels, and 24 bit color).

If you have scanned pix, I would love to have a copy of those (once you get them in the right format). :D
Nutrimat@worldnet.att.net is my e-mail. I NEED a pic of a dwarven female warrior especially. I looked through every one of Lady Nightshades custom portraits, but was unable to find one. Yes I know there is a pic of a female midget or something that comes with the game but I think that one looks sooo lame.

While we are on the subject I would like to have some forgotten realms or dragonlance full screen wallpaper. If anyone has any or knows where I can get it please let me know.
    Also any wallpaper with dragons.

  5. Logun,
here's the url for Lady Nightshade's site http://www8.50megs.com/femports/
(yes, i know the address looks a little strange, but I tested it, and it works fine)

She has a TON of portraits. They are for Baldur's Gate, but I have several of them in IWD. They appear slighty less detailed than the Icewind Dale ones that come with the game, but it's not too bad at all.

Also, here's another site that has a few IWD portraits: http://www.interplay.com/icewind/store.html

    Enjoy!!
