    In the Black Raven Monastery, you can buy a book called "How to be an adventurer" which states that it gives you 10,000 xp (in normal) and 20,000 xp (in HoF) and its one use only. Call me stupid, but I cannot figure out how to use the item after I have bought it. Any help would be gladly appreciated.

    Put it in your quick item slot, and then go back to the main game screen and click on the book icon. The book should do the rest - a bit like reading a scroll.

    I tried that before, the book icon is faded away so I cannot click it.

    Here is a trick for endless experience.If you export the manual with a character and then import that character again, the character has 2 manuals which equals 20000 exp. I imported and exported the character until i had a character named exp that had all the slots filled with manuals. This does not take very long and allows you to choose your party levels and adjust new characters quickly.

    Greying out can happen from needing a rest, or lack of intelligence? Just suggestions, never happened to me.

    If you are going to go to all they trouble of filling a guy up with that book for exp, why dont you just use a consol cheat?
