[IMG] Did I hear 21? Wrong! It's 22 actually :D Now I'll explain how I discovered this revolutionary mathematical theory.

I created an elf fighter character. I tried to roll 18/00 in strength but when I got a decent roll in all of my stats I thought: "What the hell, there are all those strength girdles so getting max ST isn't that important. Hence in the beginning my ST was 18/48. Before going to Suldenasellar I finished Watcher's Keep and there I got 1ST bonus from LUM's machine. This way in Hell my ST was 19. I first went to fight Sarevok and looking at bonuses I could get I decided to let my wrath overcome me. Then I got back to the Gate and closed one of the eyes for +2 ST bonus. But when I looked at my char's chart it showed ST of 22 instead of 21. I stripped myself of all the equip and it still is that way. In Shadow Keeper it now shows my base ST to be 20. So I got 3ST points in total.

I'm of course happy with the fact that I'm as strong as with Fire Giant Girdle though I'd like to know why did it happen to be this way esp what caused that 1 point increase in my base stats.

You should have checked your stats after getting upset with Sarevok and before inserting the tear of bhaal. AFAIK you get a bonus strength increase of 1 point just by getting mad at the guy.

If you weren't evil, however, you probably are now.
