[IMG] With the upcoming release of Icewind Dale II next Friday (Oct 11) - :flaming: - I'm interested in hearing what you think of it. After all, you yanks have had over a month to form an opinion.

In my own humble opinion, this has got to be one of the best CRPGs that I have ever played! Break into your gaming store Thursday night, steal the glorious game for yourself! HAHAHA... no, wait, then you'll go to jail. Oh well, you should buy it none the less.

Who you trying to kid Earl? :p You'll like it. You'll probably pull off some incredible solo with it ;) .

Yeah, I like the improved flexibility with character creation, possibilities have greatly expanded. And I'm in Chapter 2 and enjoy it so far. Much more outdoors, reminds me of the BG1 days. It's good to be a treehugger.

I personally enjoyed IWD2 tremendously, and plan on playing it again.

3E rules combined with the Infinity Engine rules is a dream come true, unlike a certain other debacle named Pool of Radiance.

Not quite as awesome as BG2, but then what could ever compare? Besides being a lot of fun, I also appreciated the story's emphasis on bigotry, and the various responses to it.

I'd say, if the forum for a new game is not empty, then it is not very likely that the game sucks.

    Buy it!

IWD2 is awesome. It's ALMOST as good as BG2, better in some ways. Buy this game.
