I did the church painting quest by killing Ned. After I kill him, my ranger and Pally are fallen. Can anyone tell me why ?

How can remove the "fallen" from Pally and Ranger ? I try to donate the money in church, but not working.

    thanks.

Are you sure this is where you fell at? You could always use a keeper to change your status.

You shouldn't have become fallen from killing Neb. It's actually a palladin thing to do, I think. Completion of all of the stronghold quests (palladin or ranger) will redeem you.

A palladin or ranger falling only happens when you do something evil. I'm not entirely sure what the game considers evil, though killing civilian maybe such a thing. Firing off area of effect spells (such as fireball) on an enemy when there's also neutral NPCs around is generally a Bad Idea. Alignment of your party members is not a cause of becoming fallen.

With keeper, I think he's referring to Shadow Keeper, a tool to mod your savegames.

I still think doing all the stronghold quests for either palladin or ranger is your safest in-game option to become un-fallen again.

You finish a quest that is based around the stronghold itself and then it is given to you. For instance the fighter/monk/barbarian stronghold is the DeArnise Keep which you can acquire from Nalia after completing the keep quest if you so choose.

You can only have one stronghold and you can only be given one that relates to your main character's class. If you are multiclassed then you get to pick which one you want to do.
