    Hi All,

I am in the process of updating my basement - New concrete foundation and a new boiler. I have a general question to those of you who like in Europe. Does any one here have a Baxi wallhung boiler and if you do how is the quality of the unit. I am considering installing a Baxi Luna HT 330 with DHW for my house. I will appreciate any feedback on Baxi boilers, thanks.

I've never heard of a Baxi brand, so they're probably not selling them in this part of Europe...

What makes you think anyone here will know about bloody boilers? Find a forum perhaps relating to that, I'm sure there is one somewhere.

[IMG] Last I heard, we didn't have rules against starting threads about boilers, but I'd better check with the management.

Oh, you thought it as well! I just say what everyone else thinks.. what a bizarre place to ask such a question.

[I didn't know you had psychic powers, Barmy. :shake: As for bizarreness, boilers can hardly compare to some other things I've seen posted here over the years. -Tal]

/me slaps BA upside the head with a large cod

Hey, we're a community here. Anyone can ask anything they want. And from what I've seen on the market these days, boilers aren't the old 1900's technology anymore. They're super-efficient, computer controlled pieces of modern technology running an ancient, but common heating system. If you're going to ask about a boiler, this is the right forum to do it.

But I live in the US, and have only messed around with a grand total of 3 boilers in my life...and I've never heard of the Baxi brand. Sorry. :bad: :rolling:

BA, considering that a certain someone posted a few months ago about his genital rash, I really don't think you're the right person for pointing that out. :shake:

Nothing to contribute on-topic though, I don't know anything about boilers, We do have one but it's not Baxi...

BA, Shame on you for not recognising a Great British company.

    MB,
Baxi are a recognised quality manufacturer in the UK, although I can't find the details on the model you're quoting, so it might have been renamed for the US market.

The unit is installed and for $7200. I have to say I have had my fair share of hot showers over the course of my life, but I never burned myself until the day I took my first shower after the Baxi Luna HT 330 was installed. I love this boiler. My energy bill has already gone down by 20% and it is not even winter yet.

The energy company just sent in another bill; they lowered my energy bill again by another 15%. I was on a payment plan paying over $300 a month, now my monthly payments are down to $205 a month. That is $100 a month I need to save to pay off the new boiler.

I am definitely going to recommend this boiler to anyone who needs a new one. The boiler I have is a top selling boiler in England.
