Hidden merchants

Aren't there supposed to be hidden merchants in the Wandering Village and Kuldahar? I'm in the Wandering Village now, but I can't find anything. I seem to remember reading about them somewhere......

 

There is a hidden merchant in the Wandering Village. You have to buy something from the merchant there to access it, and even then you have to say the right things.

 

When you get to Kuldahar, keep your eyes open for a scroll with words that "seem to sound like a spell". If you find it, have your wizard take it and visit the magic seller dude in the tower (I think it's in the northwestern part of the main town).

 

With regard to the hidden merchant in the Wandering Village, the reward you get for freeing the merchant right away (thus preventing you from acessing his store) is much better than anything you can purchase in his store.

 

In Kuldahar just visit the northen tower. You will see something odd standing/floating to your left.
Talk to it and you get a new dialogue which allows you access to new items.

In the wandering village, get the summoning jar from Nym.

 

Yeah, the Arcane Dekanter or something like that. I can't see it. What to I need to say to Nym?

 

I can't remember properly, perhaps its in his list, or perhaps you have to ask him if he has a special stock, or somesuch? As for the special thingy in Kuldahar, you need a particular edition of the game installed to access it.

 

Ask to buy stuff off Nym. The Avarine Decanter is in his stock. Buy it and then put it in your quick slot.

Save NOW.

Use it like a wand to summon the genie shopkeeper.

You HAVE the collector's edition shopkeepers enabled, right? If you have Weimer's Ease-of-Use that should happen automatically. If not you have to do some editing.
