Here's a poser: Henchman is HOSTILE now (SoU)

Going up the ramp at the start of Chapter Two, Dorna was following in a normal manner, no problems. There is a scene at the top over which the player has no control, then there is a movie of sorts, after which you find a petrified henchman and in my game, it's a Hostile one.

Unpetrified, she attacked my player character. I killed her. Then after resurrection, she is still hostile, although no longer attacking. With a pointer on her, there is no option other than to attack offered by the game's controlling routines.

Dorna seems to be immune to a Charm Person spell cast from a scroll, and even after a night's sleep since running into this, I've had no new ideas about a work-around. I posted this same description on BioWare's message forums after running a search on all three that deal with the SoU. Only one prior thread there mentioned a similar problem, with the kobold bard, Deekin. And the player was able to continue after killing and resurrecting him.

    Real Curious!

[IMG] What ended up being required, discovered purely through trial and error, was not to quite KILL her. If I could get her down to 1 HP and she fell down asking to be healed, I could use a heal potion and she came back around friendly, with no notion of having been hostile or anything, and the conversation didn't even indicate I needed to confirm her status as my henchman (in the NWN-OC, each time you "let" a henchman die, or almost die, and go back to get them, you have to confirm that you want them coming along with you again).

This required several reloads and trials; it shouldn't have been possible to have the problem, so I call it a type of bug.
