[IMG] Ok, for you guys that have been playing this for a while, this may not sound like a big deal. But I am having the hardest time with it. I am in the domain of the dragon. The room with the 4 orc archers on each side. Well after I beat them I go through the first doors no problem, and the second door there is an Iron Golem and three stone golems. I keep getting my butt kicked in. Can anyone give me advice.
    My party is
    Valas(main)-2 katana's +1(ShadowDragon armor)
    Minsc-Lilarcor +3, Full Plate +2
Valyga-His katana, Katana +1, and his armor
    Viconia-flail of the ages, Darkmail
    Aerie-sling +2, Elven Chain
Nalia-Tuigan Bow+1, Robe of the Good Archmagi

Please any help will do. thanx

The only weapon u have to hurt stone golems is Minsc's +3 sword, well the thing is you can kill each golem at a time, EXCEPT for the iron golem, it takes +4 or better i think to hurt him, so what you can do is... (what level are you?) either mass invisibility, or just improves invisibility... to get by... and get what ya need

[IMG] Yes, Toast´s "Ultimate Golem Killing Guide" should solve your problems with these brutes.

Fortunately they´re dumb as hell and simply programmed to kill-kill-kill so they are - despite their power - relatively easy to kill when there´s a door nearby, enabling you to hit them while they can´t hit back - that´s the way I prefer to deal with golems.

as a footnote to Ragusa's post, you should remember that most times you have numbers in your favor.
sometimes it's best to lure them into the open. If there's 6 of them coming at you, by all means use the door strategy, but if there's only two or so, have you tanks engage them, and then run in with everyone else!
6 whacks are better than one.

[IMG] I remember killing an Adamant-Golem with this +4 firetooth dagger while I was scouting alone and he surprised me.
Finally he stuck in a passageway and I was standing 6 feet away just throwing it at him again and again till he finally died.

When talking about daggers: My actual dc fighter-thief has just achieved grandmastery with daggers and they are fine weapons to back up my C´Fury (that I´m going to get soon). There are some really good daggers in the game, though they are generally underestimated.

Seems to me that there are several mediocre dagges, and one I wouldn't leave home without.
That Firetooth is an awesome weapon. As good as Gesen or Tashertons bows, and damn near Everhard.

    Rock on.
