Help with the Master Wraith

    I'm fighting the Master Wraith with my Sorceress, Sarevok, Jaheira, and Imoen. And, um, yeah... Help.

    Ok, as I can't remember who the master wraith is I can only offer two suggestions:

    1) Go back to the pocket plane and summon a couple more warriors to help you as you don't have a full party. E.g. Korgan and Minsc or something :)

    2) Use your divine powers as an Angel of Insanity to beat them up :p :p :p

    A. Get some Bada*s cleric to turn undead, if you are high enough level, all the shades, shadows and wraiths (not the Master Wraith) wil chunk.
    B. Hack on his a*s with all you got, incl. spells.

    [​IMG] Cast greater malision on the big ol' horde of undead and a couple of lower resistances on the big wraith himself. Then, try sunray and/or false dawn (give Anomen a call) in the appropriate vicinity and mop up the remains with your fighters. Robert, as they say, is your uncle :D

    [​IMG] If you have the Daystar long sword, place whoever has it in the middle of all the shades and use the Sunray ability. Also, before you talk to the Master Wraith, summon a couple of monsters and elementals, and a deva or planetar if you have access to them yet. They're very tough. Then get your clerics to cast Bless and Chant on the whole party and you're set.

    I don't have a cleric -- just Jaheira -- and the point is really to beat the Master Wraith WITHOUT summoning help. Plus, you could say that I'm not too keen on clerics for the time being ;). I've just soloed one clean through BG2. My divine powers as Angel of Insanity don't work in TOB I'm afraid, and it's an all-new TOB game so I don't even have Daystar.

    Do you have Limited Wish? That spell is really helpful there, as it can be used to cast Negative Plane Protection on everyone...

    If you have two or mor wizards or sorcerer's with spell triger and chain lightning spells queue up all three of them in the triger and let it rip :);):), it works for me every time and they seem to be very vunerable to lightning damage ;);).

    fall back and kill it's minions first rhem Breach or Kelben's wording Whipp with a ilusion dispeling spell and go hack it dovn with fighters by the way i had problems with it to so don't worry

    DO NOT KILL his minions! Try to ignore them, because you got extra XP for freeing them from the master wraith's grasp. Concentrate all your attacks on the master wraith, breach and lower resistance would come in handy. Bombard him with damage spells, but avoid elemental fire and cold cause he is immune to it. Best you use Abi Dalzim's horrid wilting.

    Like Tinman said, just concetrate on him, his not so tough, just has a lot of hitpoints. Breach him and slice him up. If not, just lower the difficulty level

    [​IMG] Well, I've beaten him by now, but thanks anyway, guys. I took him out first, he does the most damage. Then the horrors that confuse you. And it was easy from there.
