I downloaded them and put them on, and they work great, except neither Neh'taniel or Kelsey has any sounds. Anyone know whats up? Apparently it doesn't know the filetype.

IIRC you have to seperatly download a voicepack for Kelsey, it's on the same site as the Kelsey download.

Er... no... there is no separate voicepack for Kelsey. Kelsey comes in two parts, true, but one is for SoA, and the other for ToB.

@Vandred: Do *any* NPCs have any voice sound? It's possible you've set the voice sound level in your game options too low.

The other possibility is that you didn't let the installations finish properly. Both mods, and Kelsey in particular, have to uncompress a bunch of audio, and on a slower, older computer that can take a few minutes. A window will pop up and a bunch of text will scroll by, that's when you know it's working on it.

@ Icelus: All the other NPC's have sounds, I even downloaded Xan and Gareth and they work fine, voice and all. BTW nice one with that mods list!

@ jcompton: Its a new pc, 2ghz. I always wait till it finishes installing, and i ran the install twice for both of them. Looking at it i dont think my computer likes the file types.

Being that my knowledge of computers is next to 0, can anyone tell me if I can convert the filetypes to something my comp recognises?

You might...but then BG wouldn't recognize it.

Well, the trick would be to look in your override for a bunch of files with .ogg extensions.

If this is the case, (it shouldn't be if you're really letting the install finish, but let's play along) you'll need to obtain an ogg converter such as WinLame from http://winlame.sourceforge.net and convert the .ogg files to .wav. You can delete the .ogg files when you're done.

If they're not in override you can find them in the original mod installation directories (bg2\kelsey and bg2\kelseytob in the case of that mod) and convert and move them to override.
