Help with feats please

    I don't know what is happening - my Svirfneblin Rogue 1 / Barbarian 1 can't use his Expertise feat. He has the icon at the abilities bar, but it is grayed out??

    I do have Weimer's Mods installed, but I will try to uninstall them now....

    Perhaps he has been intelligence drained, which would mean that he might not meet the 13 int requirement for the feat, though I don't know if that would effect it (I don't even know your int can be drained in this game... maybe alchahol does it, like in NWN).

    That's the only thing I can think of....

    What is his BAB? +1, right? You can't use more Expertise than you have BAB and it may not be correctly letting you take the -1 you are eligible to use at this point. I haven't tried using expertise with such a low level character, so I don't know if that's a standard problem or something odd with your game.

    I gave expertise to my moonblade-wielding elven sorceress - her str is 9. When I attempted to give her expertise, I aquired this feat early too, I was only able to give her +2 first, same as her BAB. Only when advancing she eventually aquired expertise +5.

    Btw, even at risk of stating the obvious, no insult intended, expertise requires a melee weapon.
