help with druid grove

    I'm now in the Druid Grove quest and I've been encountering a somewhat technical problem. Everytime I challenge Faldorn, the game crashes. I've tried challenging her with both Cernd or with my druid PC and the same thing happens. The cutscene never gets past the fade-to-black effect. When I checked the game using NearInfinity, I found out that Faldorn's CRE file is overwritten but I don't know by which. The only mods I got installed are the Tactics and Dungeon-Be-Gone mod.

    Please help.

    Neither of those mods should overwrite Faldorn at all.

    Have you opened and resaved her file at all with an editor?

    Nope, but when I looked at her file it had a portrait and her race was set to [Greatcat Leopard]. There were three other files bearing her name and I'm not sure which one she really is. The other three don't have portraits but one of them has its race set [Greatcat Panther].

    Do you think my editing of the dialog.tlk or the various scripts of the monsters has something to do with that?

    EDIT: I solved it already. I uninstalled both mods and proceeded to install the Tactics mod without the Improved Druid Grove option. I checked the readme file and found out that there was an improvement on that quest. Sorry for any disturbance.
