When I beat him with my solo fighter / mage, I just basically summoned three Mordenkainen's Swords, a deva, and then casted improved haste on them. I also used critical strike, improved haste, stoneskin, and other spells on myself. When he comes out, it's important to deal out all the damage you can as fast as possible, so you don't get killed by his damn summons. Keep breach and warding whip spells handy to throw on him to get rid of some of the protections. That's pretty much it I think.

My mistake, I typed before thinking about it. :)

You summon a couple of devas at the same time.? I thought you can only summon one deva at a time, and same thing goes for anyother super powerful summons, ie planetors.

Also, to add on to war nerves idea of removing the demogorgons spell protection, if you have energy blades as a highlevel ability, just cast her up and it will rip through any protection. Great great ability.! Energy blades, save my arse so many times.

Just do a search with the keyword "Demogorgon", this Q has been asked many times before.

As far as Deathbringer Assault goes... won't work, he is immune to it.

[HAH! I can't spell the prince of demon's name]
