I am in the portal after finishing the asylum. I have completed the mind flayer quests, done the beholder/orb dungeon and also the village of diggers to the North. PLEASE someone tell me how I can either leave this cursed dungeon and get back to the mainland, or how do I open gates to the Drow's city. I am just stuck in these damn dungeons. Any help is appreciated.

[IMG] Go to the Smirvneblin village. Talk to the guy in the right aclove. Do the quick quest for him (to kill a demon). Get the light gem from him. Go to the entrance to Adalon's(Silver Dragon)cave. This is right next to the path to the drow city. Either do her quest to find her eggs in the Drow city (she casts an illusion spell on your party to make you look drow, or kill her and leave the Underdark through the exit in the Koa-tau dungeon( upper right-hand corner of the main cave). Have fun!

I believe there are two ways to exit the Underdark. The above post mentions the way to exit the Underdark via the Silver Dragon quests (leaving her dead or alive).

The other (I believe...) is when you kill the Mind Flayers that are IN the Underdark. They are located NORTH of where your party first entered the Underdark via the Assylum or Saughin City scenario. There are only 3 or 4 of them. If you kill the Flayers (I believe) then the exit 'appears' which is located just South-West of the bridge that leads to the Smirvneblin village. I'm not positive but I believe the Mind Flayers create an illusion to conceal the exit. When they are killed, the exit appears.

I'm not too sure of that Draco... You may be right, but I seem to recall seeing the exit the first time I went by the area and hadn't even seen the Mind Flayers. I believe the exit is difficult to find, but it's always there. I could be wrong since I didn't take the exit at that time, but I'm pretty sure I saw it...
