Help w/Coldwood [to-be spoiler?]

    How do I get inside the Wizard's Lab? For me there is no clickable entry and I don't know what wardstone or words I need to activate the thing in the grove, and also, what, if any, is the purpose of the Star Sapphire you get in the vamp's crypt?

    [​IMG] first talk to the guy in the tavern beside the temple of Tyr. The elf gives you the quest to goto the wizards lab and retrieve the gem (as well as 2 other gems)
    he will give you a key for his cottage in town.
    goto the cottage and you will find a book that tells you what you need for the wardstone (all the things can be found in the cottage)
    there is a pot in the cottage you place all the ingrediants into
    it will open a portal to another room
    where you can find the wordstone. which is used in to get into the tower.
    there is also a cave you can go into which you don't need the wardstone for I forget where it is exacly but it if you do a perimiter search you should find it, I found it the first time I did it but this time i made the wardstone.

    Syrel - I don't believe Amon-Ra is talking about Wanev's cottage/tower in the Port Llast area of Chapter 2, nor the 3 gem quest of the Serpent (I can't remember that elf's real name).

    Amon-Ra - As I haven't gotten as far as Coldwood, I also do not have the answer, but I do realize the above is not the answer to your question.

    To enter the wizards lab just run through the summoning rune on the ground, if you have the teleport scoll it will activate and take you to the lab. As for the sapphire, talk to the succubus.

    SPOILERS OF COURSE-


    If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the drunken archaeologist give you a quest in search of a snow globe which involves going into said rune in coldwood. This archaeologist gives you an item that allows access to the rune. She is located in the drinking house.
