Help, I'm under siege!

    Just wondering if anyone knows which mod it is that sends really tough assassins after me every time my solo assassin rests. its really annoying because its only a level 8 thief and these assassins poison me then paralyse me then voila... im dead!

    Whoever thought it would be funny to include it in their mod - shame on them. I know its probably there to make the game harder for parties, but this is taking the piss.

    Any help is appreciated :)

    If you are still in the Irenicus dungeon then I think the assassins are part of the Improved Ilyich mod. I have not played it myself, I think Wes' note in the readme says it all!

    do you know which version of the Tactics MOD you're using ? The Rune Assassins were replaced by Shadow Thieves & war dogs.

    Yeah, its shadow thieves and war dogs....sooo its the tactics mod. Which component is it, so i know what to install?

    They still attack outside the dungeon so i thought it was odd, and only with a thief a PC as well.

    Do you have the enhanced thief stronghold mod installed? I have and ever since there are these bandits, assasins and necromancer attacking me reguarly in athkatla.

    I don't think its installed (expanded thief stronghold that is). The Tactics Mod gives the random attacks by the fighters and necromancers that appear in amn as well but these attacks are just a lone assassin and several war dogs. Like I said before this assassin just poisons, paralyses and then kills me.

    as JSBB suggested, the shadow thieves in Chateau Irenicus are part of the 'Improved Ilyich' component :D
