[IMG] I just completed the Chapter One Quest, and now the villagers of Kuldahar are attacking me. I can't talk to them.

If anyone can help, please let me know.

[IMG] What's the Chapter One quest? Clearing out the cemetary?

In any case, the villagers would only attack you if you attacked one of them or tried to steal (unsuccessfully) from one of them. I've never heard of them just deciding to kill you for no reason. What did you do, you evil bastard?! You must have at least accidentally attacked someone (maybe you hit the sword button instead of the talk button once).

Later in the game, ogres invade Kuldahar and attack you, but you should be nowhere near that point.

If you don't have a saved game when the villagers were pleasant to you, I'd say start over from scratch (you haven't gone too far into the game anyway). You're not going to get very far if you can't return to Kuldahar. You'll need that town a lot; the Severed Hand can eventually replace it as your home base, but that's Chapter Four or Five.

I don't know what I did. I just walked back to town, and they attacked me. Some guy walks around and casts spells that summon cave bears. It is weird. I guess that I will just start over.

    Thanks.

[IMG] Someone is summoning bears in Kuldahar to attack you? That is just too bizarre. I've never heard of that happening, and it's not supposed to. Can you pause the game, hover over the summoner, and see who s/he is? If you attacked the Druid once, maybe it's him, but I've never heard of him leaving his house to attack anyone. Or maybe it's a bug. If you haven't yet, install the patch and see if it fixes it. If not, cut your losses and start over. Although I don't know how to avoid it next time around; maybe it's a fluke. All I have are maybes. Maybe.

Arundel will come out of his tree and summon all sorts of animals if you kill enough people.

Well well, after some chit chat with the locals i decided to get a beer. However the bartender did not realize i was here to help him so he tried to charge me for my drink. I think not, all these people want us to help them, yetn they give us nothing. No money, weapons, spells or a bed to lay on(of course after blackmailing the late inn keeper, we get a free room.) So my partners and i decided to show the bartenders who's who, and he loped his head off. After that some drunked fool tried to punch me in the ear, however he missed and caught a battle axe to the chest. This just continued into a bloody mess, my team was victorius, partly because the surrounding folk were drunk and weapon less. After taking a few drinks then leaving the blood filled bar we ran into some preety BIG bears. Not to mention a rock monster. We lost two men and killed all the enimies. However one of the enimies must have been our good brother ARUNDEL, because after trying to enter his house, we were unsuccesfull. He must be dead said the team, after all we were caught by surpise when the huge bears attacked us, we must have accidently slayd ARUNDEL in the fight. Oh well, we will make our amense with KULDAHAR, and try to re-build.
