Help! Coldwood Tomb serious problem [spoilers]

    Ok, so I'm in the deeper part of Coldwood. And I'm at the Tomb of some woman whose name starts with L. Anyway, I go in charging killing everything I see. Now, I reach the room with the 5 Pedestals. Here, while fighting, I cast some fireball and chain lightning to kill the undead there.

    At that moment I thought it was nothing. So after clearing up the whole level I return to that room to figure out that I had to put the Corresponding gems to the corresponding pedestals. So i fix 3 of them pedestals but the fourth one was destroyed!!! Help! So now I'm holding on to the Table of Blue Light with no pedestal. How do I fix that. I think the only way to unlock the middle pedestal is to put the right gems in the right pedestals.

    Another problem, where do i find the gem for the blue pedestal? I can't find it at all. Searched everywhere.

    Note: After some frustration, I realised that the other pedestals were immune to damage. How one of them got destroyed I do not know. I also discovered that after you activated the other pedestals, damaging them with Chain Lightning or Fireball would destroy the Magic Light. The gem is destroyed in the process.

    Someone please help me out here. Dont feel like going through that all again.

    [​IMG] looks like it's fubar. but don't worry the quest isn't that importent anyway :p
    it's only a side quest.
    you can either redo the whole crypt or just ignore it. and move on.
    maybe next time you do the game you can do the quest :D

    I got the gem that was inside, but never found out what it was for.

    I think I missed a bunch of side quests in chapter 3 because I found a bunch of items that had no use that I found. There was also this orc cave where I got past the Drow to the head orc's door, the door was locked and said maybe he'd be back later. Well, he was never there... <shrug>

    that exact problem happened to me......i had chain-lightninged the vamps inside that chamber and it had destroyed one of the pedestals....which i didn't realize until i had conquered all the rest of the tomb...i had to reload an earlier save and do it all over again.....i guess the guys who made the game forgot to make that pedestal invincible like all the rest so you could complete the star sapphire quest.....oh well...it's just a subquest anyway


    and Blackthorne TA.....that head orc's door doesn't open up until you complete most of the "Saving the Supply Lines" quest.....after you off Vaath and Guzud and take their heads back to Rolkid, he tells you to finish the head orc......once he tells you to take out the head orc, the head orc's door opens and you can take a whack at him

    OK , not that it matters much now, but where is Rolkid? I heard about the orcs and the supply lines, and I even killed them all, but I never got a quest to do it.

    Thanx guys. For a moment there, I thought I was after one of the Words of Power. So its only the Star Sapphire heh? Well, I got that subquest, looks like I'll just have to forego it. My last autosave was right after I entered Coldwood. I don't think I have the energy to go through the whole of Coldwood again.

    The Orc bandit raiding the supply lines quest is given by some supply clerk guy in the mercenary enclave and Beorunna's Well.
