I got a serious problem. i've just started playing icewind dale 2,and got a problem with my wizard. he's level 4 Evoker, with the stats:
    21 int
    6 wis
    6 cha
(and i guess str dex and con doesn't matter much)
he don't got more than 24 spells of first level (I read there's a bug with that), but still, after i made him and gave him some spells at char creation, at level ups he never showed me the screen of learning new spells. it write to me i can memorize 4 spells of level 2, but i don't got any knowen spells there because unlike my sorc, it never showed me the new spells pick up screen at level up.
    anyone knows what to do?

Wizards don't automatically get new spells. You need to buy or find scrolls.

Tip: Play a sorcerer instead. They are way better.

Right click a scroll in the mage's inentory, you will see 'Write Magic' button, you can write the spell to your book and thus you learn it. Then you should choose which of the learned spells you should memorize, unlike the sorcerer. Note that you can not learn your opposing shools, so get a cleric level or sorc. level so you learn something about that school and thus can write/learn every school!

oh thanks...for some wierd reason I really remembered that wizards can pick up spells every level like sorc's, besides writing spells from scrolls.

Some other games does that, i don't recal if it was NWN or ToEE ... I think it was ToEE, becose they changed the rules somewhat again.
